MIX& MINGLE- DOULA WIND DOWN
Doula Wind Down
Exhale. Unclench. Come back to yourself.
Doula Wind Down is NBDA®’s restorative gathering created to support the emotional well-being and sustainability of doulas and birthworkers. This is a calm, low-pressure space to slow down, decompress, and reconnect after the week—without expectations, performance, or pressure to “show up perfect.”
Through gentle activities like guided reflection, open conversation, community sharing, and nervous-system-supportive practices, we center rest, care, and real connection for those doing demanding birth work.
We’re also adding a fun game element to bring some lightness and laughter—think a simple, low-stakes, doula-themed activity designed for easy smiles, playful interaction, and quick bonding. It’s not just a relaxing event; it’s a nurturing space where self-care can include both deep rest and joyful connection.
