Our Mission

Being the #1 Black and BIPOC Doula Directory and Training Organization in the world. We maintain a compressive, professional, and accessible directory of Doulas and other relevant practitioners. We train, mentor, and empower aspiring doulas to be the change we want to see in the world. We implement programming to educate and support families. We advocate for care that allows for BIPOC families to journey through birth and beyond being affirmed, safe, and empowered.

Help Our Cause

Support Black Maternal Health by Donating to the National Black Doula Association (NBDA®)

Every dollar donated to NBDA will be invested in organizing community events, workshops, and training programs that are tailored to meet the specific needs of Doulas of color. In addition, your generosity will create scholarship opportunities for women of color who aspire to become part of the birthing profession, providing them with comprehensive education and training to make a positive impact on maternal health outcomes in their communities.

We humbly request that you donate what you feel led to give, as every contribution, regardless of the amount, will take us one step closer to achieving our goal of creating healthy and safe birth experiences for Black communities. Your support will make a tangible difference in the lives of countless individuals and families, and we express our deepest gratitude for your generosity.
