Doulas Giving Detroit: Fellowship & Giving Back
The National Black Doulas Association (NBDA) and Mother & Justice invite you to DoulasGiving Detroit, a special gathering centered on fellowship, connection, and giving back to our community.
This event brings doulas together to support one another while extending care to local mothers, babies, and families. Through fellowship and community service, we aim to give back to those who need support.
As part of the gathering, attendees will participate in a hands-on bag-packing activity. The bags will be donated to a local women’s and children’s shelter in the Detroit area to support mothers and babies.
How to Participate in Giving Back
Attendees have two options:
Bring a donation: Bring an item that a mother or baby can use to support a family in need.
Purchase a $10 ticket: If you are unable to bring a donation item, you may purchase a $10 ticket. Proceeds will go toward supporting the event’s giving-back efforts.

Doulas dedicate their time to caring for others, and DoulasGiving creates space to pour back into the doula community while extending that care to families in need.
