Moments With Doulas

  • Mothering Justice Headquarters 1948 Division Street Detroit, MI, 48207 United States (map)

A warm, restorative gathering created especially for doulas and birth workers who are ready to slow down, breathe, and reconnect in community. Hosted by Diamond Symoné, NBDA Regional Director, in partnership with the National Black Doulas Association and Mothering Justice, this experience centers care for the caregivers.

This is not a lecture or training. It is a moment to be held, to be present, and to be in conversation with others who understand the emotional, physical, and spiritual labor of birthwork.

Guests can expect a thoughtfully curated flow that includes:
• A gentle arrival and grounding icebreaker
• Intentional conversation over warm tea
• Yoga and meditation session led by Erin Julianna
• Open space for reflection, connection, and networking

Light refreshments will be provided, along with a small gift bag for each guest.

If you have been holding space for others and are craving a pause that feels supportive, nourishing, and community centered, this gathering was created with you in mind.
